Description

This is a repeat of the morning session.
Nebraska DHHS 172 NAC 95 and Nebraska Department of Education Rule 59 govern the administration of medications in the school setting. Only licensed healthcare professionals and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) working in a school who have met competency assessment may give medications. This session will provide best practices regarding the 14 competencies to administer medications in schools. Participants who successfully pass a competency assessment and test will receive a certificate.
