Description:
Over 50 million teachers and
students around the world use G Suite for Education. In order for students to
have a competitive edge, they need to know how to leverage the power of these
digital tools. It is important for teachers to be able to use these tools to
their fullest potential. This course will prepare teachers to use G Suite for
Education, formerly known as Goggle Apps for Education (GAFE). The course will
focus on the core services which include Gmail, Calendar, Drive (including
Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, and Drawings), Sites, Hangouts and Classroom and
how they can be used in a classroom setting. The course will also include
instruction on YouTube, screen casting, as well as other lesser known Google
Apps that teachers find valuable. Participants will learn how the G Suite can
help increase communication, collaboration, and foster creativity and promote
critical thinking
