Description | | During
a one-day (6-hour) workshop, teachers will be introduced to the ACT and learn
everything from the ACT’s structure and content to the basic strategies that
help students succeed on the test. Teachers will engage in activities and
discussion that help them view the ACT through the eyes of a high school
student. They will then participate in subject-specific breakout groups and
gain insights into ACT-style questions with the goal of integrating basic ACT
preparation into the classroom. This professional development
experience is designed for teachers in the core subjects for STEM/Mathematics
and Sciences.
