DescriptionDistricts around the country have created math coaching and lead teacher positions. Coaches are often responsible for too many teachers and schools. Come hear about cohorts that use a lesson-study approach, promote professional learning communities, increase teachers' knowledge of content and pedagogy, increase student achievement, and move beyond the power of one. Video segments of teaching will be discussed, and handouts will be provided.
