DescriptionKindergarten students will visit the Legacy of the Plains Museum to meet volunteers who share activities involving tools, toys, prairie animals, and tales of the past.  Students will wash clothes on a scrub board and skip a rope they actually make themselves.

Students will participate in the following sessions during their visit:

Use an antique water pump.
Wash clothes in an antique wooden washing machine.
Play with antique toys.
Learn about prairie animals.
Participate in a one-room schoolhouse setting.
Shell and grind corn using antique farm equipment.
