Description | | This session is for school leaders and school implementation teams whose schools are in their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of implementing high quality instructional materials.
Over the last decade, researchers have linked HQIM and positive student learning outcomes: curriculum materials matter. Just buying new materials isn't going to improve student learning. Higher quality and more rigorous materials are challenging to implement in the classroom.
During this kick-off session, Kristin and Michelle will share a framework that building leaders can use to see where they are in the implementation process, and plan their next steps.
We will share descriptive videos, pd materials, tools, and examples of how you can:
Begin to understand and establish the expectations for materials use and create the enabling conditions for unit and lesson preparation, collaboration, and feedback begin to establish routines and processes for monitoring HQIM implementation and using that data to provide support establish opportunities for teachers to analyze student work |
