DescriptionCome join us as we start off this year’s paraprofessional workshop series. This year area paras will be working in partnership with Panhandle Public Health District to complete the Classroom Wise program. In this series you will complete 6 modules to help you navigate important topics such as Creating Safe and Supportive Classrooms and Understanding and Supporting Students Experiencing Adversity and Distress. In this August 9th half-day kickoff session, paras will be introduced to module 1 of Classroom Wise and explore a number of other topics to be aware of in today’s school settings. We will meet via Zoom from 2-3 PM on August 30, October 4, November 1, December 6, and March 6.  Recordings of those Zoom sessions will be available for those who can not attend live.
