DescriptionThese sessions are for all schools who serve Multi-Language Learners
For this meeting, we will be taking the opportunity to practice applying many of the tools and strategies we have learned about over the last year. Anne Hubbell from the Nebraska Department of Education will be joining us.
We will: Discuss the importance of collaboration and ideas on how to promote collaboration with peers, explore tools for differentiation, analyze student data to determine differentiation needs, address content teacher types and needs, and prepare a plan to collaborate and build the capacity of at least one teacher to meet the needs of at least one ML student.
Please come with access to the assessment data of your students. Also be thinking about at least one specific content area teacher you want to work with. All of the work we do on this day will reinforce what you may have already learned and help you apply those skills to work with the teachers who work the most with your students.
This session is available by zoom if necessary.
