DescriptionDescription: Participants will attend a two-day workshop in which they
will review and understand effective mathematics instruction aligned to
the mathematical processes, standards, and instructional shifts, as well
as develop a clearer understanding of the eight effective math
practices as outlined by the National Council of Teachers of
Mathematics. Participants will also learn how to embed effective math
practices into daily instruction in order to promote higher thinking
skills, enhanced learning, and productive student engagement.
