DescriptionThe Alphabet of Mathematics, Math Strategies

Touch Math Interventions and Math Strategies for the Classroom Math barriers begin in elementary school. Without remediation, they continue through life. As students age, it becomes crucial that they have a simple, straight forward, and reliable system that is immediately accessible in their minds. TouchMath is that system. Critically acclaimed for its ability to get remedial students back on track, this multisensory step-by-step approach provides struggling learners the opportunity to understand and overcome previous barriers. Materials are organized by topic so busy teachers have the flexibility to pick and choose specific skills that need to be re-taught.
“My special education students love math now! Their self-esteem is through the roof knowing that math is not as difficult as they thought it was”

This training seeks to reach general education, special education, Title 1 and specialists who educate students struggling with traditional math instruction strategies.
Functional levels of K-4th will be the focus; correlating grade levels K-8th
? This session, provided by Innovative Learning Concepts, will include training in learning modalities as it relates to counting, skip counting, patterns, addition, and subtraction.
? Also discussed will be best practices for the classroom as well as brain research behind math interventions and the Touch Math program
You do NOT need to own Touch Math kits in order to benefit from the training and implement the strategies in your classroom.
