DescriptionDr. Lori Peterson from the University of Northern Colorado will be in Scottsbluff on October 3 to share information on the transition gap analysis process (TGAP). The TGAP is a graphic organizer that walks educators and team members through the creation of secondary transition goals focused on the knowledge and skills needed to close student performance gaps. This process focuses on identifying post-secondary goals and triangulating that goal with academic content and industry standards. From there, gaps are identified and annual goals are developed to target those gaps. The TGAP tool can be used to address both academic and non-academic skills needed for students to reach their goals.
