ALL THINGS ENROLLMENT!
Conflict over student enrollment can not only cause a school district legal headaches, but it can result in high profile political turmoil as well. In this webinar, the KSB attorneys will address every aspect of student enrollment, including: (a) who is a "resident" - foster students, children of parents who live in multiple districts, minors not residing with parents, etc; (b) an update on the statutory requirements of option enrollment as well as recent decisions on option appeals; (c) the state
and federal requirements surrounding enrollment of homeless students: and (d) why the May 1 NSAA list is so important.
