DescriptionDescription:
This workshop is made up of two full, but nonconsecutive days.  The first day is designed to educate district leadership on the varied sources of data and explore its potential use, e.g. to deepen and document school improvement efforts.  The second day is follow-on training for personnel capable of manipulating data from varied sources into a coherent story.

The morning of the first day includes a discussion on the appropriate use of data, and investigation of the DRS and the DRC systems.  Participants will be encouraged to participate by engaging in review of their own district's data for both successes and to identify area(s) suggesting further review is indicated.  The afternoon of this first session will include hands-on tutorials on exporting data from various sources for visual inspection and comparison.
